Are taxes paid just by republicans or independents that are against this bill? How much do these greedy anti - Obama people need to live this finite life? This reminds me of the South vs nortn American war where the greedy wicked southerners were up in arms to keep slave trade claiming their wealth is at risk.Where is the human love of all the greedy Americans?

If the senate new health care reform bill passes when will it actually go into effect?
Matt LatimerAuthor, Speech-less: Tales of a White House SurvivorFormer White House SpeechwriterTwas the night before Christmas and all through the Congress, Every creature was frantic, from insurers to lobbyists. While Americans worried about higher taxes and spending, The liberals, they promisedbig government unending. From Mama Nancy in one chamber toPapa Harry in the other, A chorus rang outAnd Ben Nelson was smothered." Let bureaucrats run health care," the leaders urged with a grin." Don't worry about details, Obama just needs a win." On Franken! On Landrieu! On Lincoln and Schumer! Dismiss all the facts, Deny every rumor.Forget about burdens on business.Ignore the red tape.We must pass a bill, any size, any shape.More decisions by WashingtonThe masses, they need it.So 60 Dems voted yesMost didn't bother to read it.In despair and their kerchiefsMcConnell and Boehner then slumbered. They had tried to improve things but were vastly outnmberedWith vict'ry in sightDemocrats smiled with gleeBut so did some Republicans, only theirs you couldn't see.For conservatives knew wellThe disaster in sight. In the bill they saw fortune, A chance to make all things right.Soon a thought bubbled forth bringing fresh Christmas cheer." Today bureaucrats won.But they won't come next year."
Should Matt Latimer get an award for his parody on Obama and the Democrats xmas heathcare sham dealings?
Someone said this " Corporations bring me my food, car, house, insurance, entertainment...........no problem. What is wrong with corporations bringing my health care? Government brings bureaucracies, taxes and inefficiencies.Health care has been run all these years by corporations and now a new comer wants into the game, a player with a lousy track record to boot." GOOD POINT, private companies are good with cable etc...But when it comes to insurance, THEIR FAVORITE CUSTOMER IS ONE WHO NEVER USES THEIR SERVICE, therefore there more inclined to not pick up people who have preexisting conditions because they MAKE THEM LESS MONEY.The reason your internet is fast is because your provider gets more customers (More money) by producing a better product.Insurance companies get more money by providing you with less coverage, and having customers who won't ever actually need the service they pay for.People talk about not trusting the Government, I don't see how one could truly trust greedy insurance companies who don't actually want to pay your medical bills because, well, they make less money that way.The cost of the healthcare bills via HMO's in the U.S is extremely high compared to other Western states because where HMO's tend to have a monopoly over the market they can charge the prices they want = sky high. And what Obama is trying to do with the backing of the rest of the sentient thinking rational world is to introduce a public option (self funded might i add, only initial cost to taxpayer) that will sell insurance at a competitively low price, say (i have no idea of the figures) it costs $10 a month from this HMO, and another charges $12, then the public option will charge $5, making the other companies compete with the public option's price and eventually lowering the price for all Americans.Introducing healthcare to well over 40 million people. What it comes down to is they want either to cover you (the customer) or more profits. Its just that kind of business. To the comment " WELL ALL INSURANCE IS LIKE THAT." Good point.but Health Insurance is crucial to our survival. Thus its called HEALTH INSURANCE.PEOPLE DIE FROM LACK OF COVERAGE.Disgust nobody said anything to that affect.Grow the hell up.
Do health insurance companies have conflicted interests?
Considering the bill makes it mandatory for everyone to purchase expensive health care so that the gov won't have to cover anyone who doesn't have it anymore or for hospitals to eat the cost, so now that we will have to pay a lot for it, or else have our wages garnished and also raise taxes to cover illegals who won't have to pay for it but get covered for free - the only semi-good thing was the public option which Republicans took out.It would've been much cheaper to choose that option since now everyone will be at the mercy of private insurance companies to charge as much as they want since nobody could not purchase. So why did they take that out??
Why was the ONLY good part of the health care bill - public option - removed?
Are we just throwing popular sovereignty, a government BY the people FOR the people, etc.out the window? Does anyone see where I stand? Who agrees and/or disagrees with me? Are my question and I alone in this world? And do you think that this new health care bill is constitutional or unconstitutional? Why?*Please feel free to add extra useful information about your opinion/view.Merry Christmas to all :)To Wage Peace: No, I am not referring to " men are created equal, women and children are property, and slaves are 1/8 of a person".I would further explain what I mean...But I'm lazy, and I don't feel like it lol: PPlus - I think you know what I meant anyway...
