Do you go to the American Embassy or can it be renewed at...say the British Airways or another airline service at the airport? If you can, please give an estimate of the cost to renew also. Thank you.

If a person is in another country and their passport expires, can they get it renewed there? And the cost?
When he's taken so much money from Big, Big Business? It seems that at least some conservatives, libertarians and a few leftists (such as Counterpunch's Pam Martens) (1, 2) were on the real story with Obama - those of us who noted Geoge Soros' and Warren Buffett's generosity to his Presidential campaign, or that Obama got more money from Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae than any other Member of Congress. Interestingly, executives and employees of Wall Street law firms and lobbyists were Obama's largest donors, among them Jack Abramoff's Greenberg Traurig ($70,000).When the investment banks and bankers peel off the big bucks to get you into office and keep you there, and send major executives (like Perseus Group's Jim Johnson - Soros owns Perseus Group) to help you run your campaign, it's not because they like your speaking style. It's because they expect you to share the nation's wealth with THEM somewhere down the line. To quote Pam Martens (back in March, 2008):" We are asked to believe that those white executives at all the biggest Wall Street firms, which rank in the top 20 donors to the Obama presidential campaign, after failing to achieve more than 3.5 per cent black stockbrokers over 30 years, now want a black populist president because they crave a level playing field for the American people. The number one industry supporting the Obama presidential bid, according to the widely respected, nonpartisan Center for Responsive Politics, is " lawyers/law firms" (most on Wall Street's payroll), giving a total of $11,246,596. They say:" Other leading presidential candidates are taking money from lawyers/law firms/lobbyists, but Senator Obama is the only one rallying with the populist cry that he isn't." This presents three unique credibility problems for the yes-we-can, little-choo-choo-that-could campaign: (1) these are not just " lawyers/law firms"; the vast majority of these firms are also registered lobbyists at the Federal level; (2) Senator Obama has made it a core tenet of his campaign platform that the way he is gong to bring the country hope and change is not taking money from federal lobbyists; and (3) with the past seven ignoble years of lies and distortions fresh in the minds of voters, building a candidacy based on half-truths is not a sustainable strategy to secure the west wing from the right wing. Yes, the other leading presidential candidates are taking money from lawyers/law firms/lobbyists, but Senator Obama is the only one rallying with the populist cry that he isn't. That makes it not only a legitimate but a necessary line of inquiry.......Why do Wall Street and the corporate law firms think they will find a President Obama to be accommodating? As the Black Agenda Report notes, " Evidently, the giant insurance companies, the airlines, oil companies, Wall Street, military contractors and others had closely examined and vetted Barack Obama and found him pleasing." Pardon the Joel Chandler Harris analogy, but Barack Obama was Big Business' Briar Patch - they pleaded faintly for the American people not to elect a guy who they found perfectly willing to accept their money in great big lots. What the Democratic Party accuses John McCain and Joe Lieberman of being, Obama IS. Sources:1) http://www. counterpunch. org/martens05052008.html2) http://carolynbaker. net/site/content/view/360/

Why is Barack Obama considered a man of the people?

How often did american airlines crash since it was made?
I came to Spain to study my Tefl certificate (certification to teach English as a foreign language), and I´ve always wanted to come to Spain. Unfortunately, I haven´t had the time or $$$ to do much except study. I LOVE Barcelona, which is where I am, but the part of Spain I´m just dying to see is Andalucia, in the south. Unfortunately, I don´t have time or $$$ to go, even though I´m dying to. I´m feeling a bit depressed because I´ve waited 30 years to go to Spain and this is my first time here, and I have to return to USA in a few days. The only thing that I can think of is to save my $$$ and then return to Spain, but I am so scared that it´s going to take me another 30 years to make it back to Spain, or that something will happen and I´ll never come back. The reason I turned to Tefl in the first place was because I never had a proper carreer. I graduated from college, and just had a series of crappy jobs. I wasn´t sure what I wanted to do with my life, I was sick and tired of crummy jobs and wanted a real career, and i wanted very badly to see the world. In many ways TEFL was the answer to my prayers. Part of me wants to go off somewhere new, like South America, part of me wants to return to Mexico (where I lived for a LONG time) but my heart is in Spain. Id stay here forever if I were offered the chacne. Furthermore, I have to look for work teaching English abroad, and I don´t see how I can save $$$ when Tefl-ing. A poster here gave me a wonderful suggestion, and I am grateful... there is a prgram called CIEE where NOrth Americans can legally work in Sevilla... the only problem is the cost. There is a program fee, and, furthermore, airline costs. So what do I do? I know people are going to give me flack for being selfish... but it sucks so much that I´ve been in love with Spain and have to leave, and without seeing the parts that I´m most in love with!! This is making me so sad!!! Of course Im grateful I got to come, but it still... sucks... I dont wanna leave and I worroy Iĺl never return. Marry whom? I was happy when they legalized gay marriage in Spain... but I know of no country where they allow you to marry a COUNTRY... lol... If I married a Spanish dude though, I could stay... not that I would ever use someone and break their heart... jejeje

Help!!! I´m in love with Spain, what do I do?
Where do I find that???

I want to move my flight on American Airlines to a closer date, but I am asked to provide a record locator?
Wouldn't prices free fall if we simply boycotted all stores for a few weeks? Recently I canceled a flight because the cost was too high. The airline contacted me with an offer 40% lower than originally posted. Humility in Corporations is quick when we stop buying. Challenges serve to inspire strength and wisdom. We're fat and lazy. It's time for a shock of reality. BRING ON THE HYPERINFLATION, Mr. Obama. We need it.
