ok so this might not be the perfect forum for this but.......Any way, i was wondering if anyone has used Craigslist for trying to find someone to date.i ask because i was thinking of putting up an ad after christmas and i just want peoples thoughts on weather people from the site are usually good people or if they are all a bunch of overly horny perverts.My thoughts are that i would set up a meeting at a bar, and from there get to know them.(change of sex would be VERY VERY low).so ya, peoples thought and experiences from the site would be helpful and much appreciated.please do not flame this post.

meeting someone from Craigslist?
We sold a used mobility scooter that was advertised as " like new condition" because we never used the scooter.We bought it for my Father in law before he passed away and he didn't get a chance to use it.It is clearly marked in the ad that we had the scooter for over two years and that it was driven by my members of the family to ensure that it worked.We never said no warranty or as is in the ad.(I kind of assumed that that was implied when buying on Craigslist).A month later she says it no longer works and that the unit was tampered with and she wants her money back because it isn't NEW.The RUB is that she talked with a discount scooter place that said they would sell her a brand new one for $100 less than our used scooter.So I think she is having a case of buyers remorse and wants to get her money back so that she can buy the new scooter.We offered to look at the scooter and try and fix it, but we are not taking it back.So now she is threatening small claims court.Anyone else been taken to small claims? Thanks...that is what I thought.What is strange is that when she bought it, she didn't even want to look at it our try it out.She just wanted to load it into her car.I actually got on the scooter showed her how everything worked and drove it around to show her that it worked.She admitted that she used it for five days, charged it and it didn't work after she left it charged for a weekend.(We also told her NOT to leave it charging for prolonged periods).She also admitted that they took it all apart.I feel bad, but I agree buyer beware, and I don't put it past her " disabling" the scooter so that she could get her money back to buy a " new" one.

Ok, here's the story.I go on my email and find about 3 emails that say " MAILER-DAEMON" whatever.I don't send emails from that account, so I'm wondering how in the world did that happen.- someone has my password and they've been going in my email is what I thought could've happened.Only thing is, no one know's it and whoever does [my sister only] wouldn't do that.So I looked at the MAILER-DAEMON emails and seen some peoples emails and figured whoever was on my email must have done that.So I emailed them back and cleared some things up.One of the persons I talked to mentioned an " ad" that " I" had on craigslist and she would like to blablabla and this and that.Changed my password then signed off, went on with my day.Come back and there's more =\, like what in the world, right! One coming from the woman I had emailed earlier ..kinda odd isn't it?? And then the emails that fails to send have subjects like " Hey Sexy" " let's chat" blablabla, I don't do that kind of thing, otherwise, why would I be asking this? WHY IS THIS HAPPENING AND I'M GETTING ANNOYED, and I don't feel like changing emails.

Hi, I've been playing guitar for a year and half now and, even with proper lessons, I feel like I'm still not very good.I feel that maybe playing with someone else would help me learn things quicker and spur me on to practice twice as much, and hopefully get me out of this rut I've been in.I figured maybe teaming up with a drummer would be best, but I don't know where to look or advertise for a drummer.Another thing is, I'm 17 years old and a girl, and I think i'd feel a lot more comfortable practicing with someone who is around my age and well....a girl.Don't get me wrong, I don't hate boys, or dislike playing with them, but male musicians generally think they're a lot better then they are, and like to showcase their talents and blast their amps so the whole neighborhood can hear.Female musicians are a lot more timid about their abilities, and until we're playing on stage with Eric Clapton, we're not going to brag about our talents or think we're hot shit.Anyways, are there any sites I can go to with listing for musicians? I tried Bandmix but you have to be 18, I could easily lie, but I think that keeps other people my age out of that site.I know craigslist is good for musician listings but do teenagers really look at those even? I would try looking around school, but trust me, there are absolutely no female musicians(at least not any who play rock).Any help would be much appreciated!
