Climate Change: A Consensus Among Scientists? | Information Is ...
Off the back of the recent Climate Skeptics vs The Consensus image, we were curious how many scientists might make up 'The Consensus'. The Skeptical side.
Which direction is Santa coming in, this year? North or South?
I need more info about this. How the developed countries are responsible? etc.

Developed countries are sole cause for climate change?
Not one of the many, many scientific organizations (AAAS, National Geologic Assn, AMA, etc) have changed their position statement. All unanimously agree that AGW is an issue. In fact, not ONE remaining scientific body of national or international standing is known to reject the basic findings of human influence on recent climate change. Check out the full list of dozens of well known organizations: http://en. wikipedia. org/wiki/Scientific_opinion_on_climate_change#Statements_by_concurring_organizations

If 'Climategate' was such a big deal, why have no scientific organizations changed their opinions?
My views are:1. Pro-HealthCare But no public option and there needs to limits2. Pro-War, we need to be in Afgahninstan, but lets leave iraq3. Pro - Same Sex Marrige4. Lets stop worring about bills when we cant afford them

What Politcal party fits me best.?
Carbon prices plunged yesterday in the aftermath of the Copenhagen conference on climate change, dealing a blow to the credibility of the European Union's carbon-trading scheme. Prices for carbon permits for December 2010 delivery, the benchmark contract for pricing European permits, dropped nearly 10 per cent in early trading, before recovering to end the day 8.3 per cent lower at €12.41.Lower prices give companies less incentive to invest in cutting their greenhouse gas output. Analysts estimate that prices of more than €40 a tonne are required to stimulate investment in new low-carbon technologies. http://www. ft. com/cms/s/0/c1a7aade-ee98-11de-944c-00144feab49a. html? nclick_check=1The " carbon market" is speaking volumes about global warming being a HOAX. When it drops another 30, 40, 50% THEN will the alarmist loons get it?

Why did European carbon market take a dive after Copenhagen?
So why don't we just convert to Islam and be done with it? We can focus on tackling climate change, fighting off capitalism and giving everyone free universal healthcare if we don't have to worry about terrorists attacking us. Convert to Islam and let's be done with it!

America, you do realize that Muslims will stop attacking us if we convert to Islam don't you?
Men are about to destroy the Planet. They cannot decide to combine all their resources to save us all from Climate change. They have never allowed women to have an equal share. Thus only 10% of us enjoy all the goodies of life. The 90% are persecuted/homeless/foodless/moneyless or imprisoned. Wake up women we need you to be a true partner to this arrogant posturing gender. They have never got their act together since Adam had all his equipment.

When will women take up their equality position with men in all matters of Governance/Religion/Security/?
I am. Here is what I am doing to battle the dims power grab we are currently watching that involves health care reform which involves buying senators votes with the promise of treating 4 states different than the rest, cap-and-noendtotax, watch out for amnesty for illegals, cutting medicare by $500 billion, trying to make an international agreement over anthropogenic climate change, etc. I am cutting my spending out for all items except things that I absolutely have to have. BHO has done wonders for my savings rate. Will you help me show BHO that without small business owners, the chamber of commerce, and individual consumers our economy will never recover? Are you in?

Are in the category that is the 71% and mad as heck at our government?

No nation in the world looks liek it gives a crap about climate change and the point of no return is comeingnearer if we dotn start reducing our greenhouse emmissions in the next fw years the world is gna loose all its natural resources and instead of fighitng over oil like right now wed be fighting over water and alot of people are going to start dieing and by 2020 the north pole will be glacier free i mean come on the signs are stareing at the governments right in the face and a few plastic bottles and shoping bags wont do you any good anymore we need to start changing our ways in a larger scale so why dont they care abotu any of this thats exactly how the old empires died out liek the roman empire they didnt care they thought everything was ok but then what hapend this could be us instead itl happen to the hwole world

Why doesnt anyone take climate change seriously?
Do record snow storms, cold spells etc mean the earth is getting cooler and do record heatwaves and droughts mean the earth is getting warmer? I thought that they were separate things (i. e. weather and climate) but apparently a lead author of the IPCC said, following the heatwave of 2003, that: [QUOTE]" I think there are very good reasons to believe that the current U. S. heat wave is at least partly caused by global warming," Kevin Trenberth, one of the nation's top global-warming computer modelers, wrote in an e-mail. The same article quotes the climatologist, Michael Mann as saying "" As we see more and more such record-breaking extremes," Mann said, " we can increasingly implicate climate change for the shift. This holds for heat waves, droughts and intense tropical storms" And a third climate researcher adds "" What is worrisome," said Claudia Tebaldi, a climate statistician who works at the Boulder research center, " is that climate models all agree on the intensification of heat waves in the future."----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Okay, please help, i am *genuinely* confused here. Can individual weather events be ascribed to global warming / climate change or not? source for quotes was the San Francisco Chronicle.
