I was baking Christmas cookies the other day and when I took the cookie sheet out of the oven it touched my bicep and burned me! That was about 4 days ago and now it's really red with no blisters it's an inch long strip of burn :( it's sore to the touch but it's not painful. I have very fair skin so this mark completly sticks out. Do I have a first degree or second degree burn? Will it scar? How can I prevent it from scarring?

Yes, I'm so terribly sorry to bore you with another Xmas question on Xmas eve, but, do your kids understand what Christmas is? By that, meaning that you put out milk and cookies for " Santa", and when you're asleep " he" gives you gifts, and when you wake up, you get to open them? If so, are they excited about it?
